The Leading Edge:

Leading others in evangelism—motivating, training, mobilizing, stepping out in faith-filled action, and more—is especially challenging in today’s “post-Christian” context. Many Christians are, at best, hesitant and afraid to talk about their faith with others. At worst, they are opposed to it; a 2019 Barna survey found that nearly half of Christian millennials say that it is “wrong to share one’s personal beliefs with someone of a different faith in hopes that they will one day share the same faith.”

How a leader thinks about evangelism shapes how they will lead in it. So thinking biblically and comprehensively is critical. The Leading Edge is designed to help leaders do just that. This is the clearest and most accessible examination of Cru’s “evangelism model” yet created. Five “M’s” create the framework: Master, Masses, Messengers, Message, and Methods.
