Book Overview
Defending the Military Family is a small-group study designed to help military families build a successful home.
Servicemen and women get first-class training to complete their mission — defending life and liberty. But sometimes they find that they’re ill-equipped to face the challenge of raising children in today’s dynamic military. As members of the military, their families face unique situations that many in the civilian world will never confront. They encounter long separations due to deployments and uproot their households every few years. This impacts the entire family as they move from a core group of friends to new environments. It influences children through every phase of life and particularly as they enter the challenging teen years.
You will find the study a practical and enlightening way to gain great insights into how to deal with the issues you face in raising your children while in the military. This study is a natural companion study to Defending the Military Marriage.
