Additional Resources
In 2009, Cru Military, the American Association of Christian Counselors (AACC) and Light University collaborated to produce a one-of-a-kind video training program. This program is designed to help caring Christians get better equipped for ministry to military service members, veterans, and their families. Originally the program offered continuing education credits to those who satisfactorily completed the training. Those credits are no longer available.
The thirty lessons grouped into five units cover Acute Stress and Trauma, Basic Crisis Intervention, Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder, Military Applications, and Spiritual Solutions.
All the video material is available for viewing online or downloading from Vimeo.
Please note: We are no longer grading or certifying the exams for the Care and Counsel for Combat Trauma course. Please contact OnRamps@crumilitary.org, if you have questions about this.
