There’s no getting around it—evangelism is intimidating for any Christian. What do I say? How do I say it? What if I forget something or get the message wrong? What if they’re offended, or they reject me entirely?

In spite of these and other obstacles, the early church and many other Christian communities through the centuries found ways to integrate the gospel into their everyday environments—where they lived, worked, played, and worshiped. We can do the same.

Starting with our hearts, moving to the art and science of good conversation, and ending with 12 prepared discussion sessions, this guide equips any Christian to confidently approach any type of non-Christian for authentic, meaningful discussion, at a “Table Talk” event or in the course of daily life.

About the Author

Nate Sims serves with the US Church Movements ministry of Cru City in the Lehigh Valley of Pennsylvania. He has hosted many Table Talk events across the country and has trained Christians to do the same all over the world. He’s a graduate of Cairn University and Kairos Seminary and a chaplain in the Pennsylvania Army National Guard. Nate and his wife Virginia are the proud parents of three wonderful children.
