Luke: Journey to Jerusalem is the second of the Cru Press Community Studies (formerly Cru.Comm) to go into print. Nine studies in the Gospel of Luke give focus and attention to Jesus: his major teachings, miracles, mission, and his call to discipleship.
The content is applicable to young and mature believers alike, for ministry on campus, city, or community. The studies are all new, completely rewritten, and with new studies added, replacing the study available online.
Luke: Journey to Jerusalem begins with an overview of the Gospel. Then, printed in the study guide, is the full text of Luke (NIV) chapters 9-15. This is followed by nine Bible studies that each begin with a short introduction, followed by discussion questions, followed by a short article-commenting, clarifying, and tying up the study. Answers to discussion questions are in the back of the study guide.
Luke: Journey to Jerusalem is bound with a linen-like cover, rounded edges, and a complete NIV version of the text, Luke 9-15. The guides communicate commitment to a small group in a way that computer print-outs cannot. Besides the study questions, each guide has all the answers and articles with lots of room for notes, and the freedom to mark-up the text of Luke.
