Love Thy Selfie Participant Workbook
This small group study curriculum dives into three #Selfies: Self-Worth, Self-Esteem, and Self-Respect. Each #Selfie is directly connected to the other in an intricate way. Love Thy Selfie explores how they interact with each other and how they impact girls’ lives every day. Great for groups of Christians, non-Christians, or mixed groups of middle or high schoolers!
From a good foundation and understanding of ourselves, we can discover our purpose. This curriculum moves each girl toward understanding what their calling, purpose, or destiny might be as they learn about who they are: created by God, a divine image bearer and beloved child. This makes them infinitely valuable.
Love Thy Selfie can be used as a Bible study and an opportunity to introduce girls to the God who created them with plans that bring hope and a future. It is ideal for girls in 5th-8th grade. Yet this curriculum is very versatile. It sticks to these three basic principles and allows facilitators ample room to contextualize for their audience, creating pathways for deeper spiritual conversation. For example, this curriculum has had great success overseas with elementary-age students, both boys and girls, and even with adult women.
The Priceless Project has partnered with Cru High School to bring you three evidence-based curricula and a program that will equip you with the resources you need to mentor and change girls’ lives from the inside out. All of The Priceless Project curricula are available in two forms: a Scripture-based (ie: small group) version that is available here to purchase, and a principal-based (ie: public school) version available as a free download at iampriceless.me.
The principal-based version is available to any facilitator interested in leading this program in public schools or other venues. The content will be the same but it will not contain scripture references and religious language. Go to iampriceless.me to download your Free copy of the “Public School Version” of this curriculum.
