Mentoring One Another: Thriving Spiritually in Academia

Contained here are time tested, life-on-life studies for faculty, graduate students and other postgraduate academics. This study is especially designed to equip professors to meet the challenges of thriving spiritually in the place where God has called them: today's highly secular university. It includes real life illustrations, applications and resources relevant to the academy, gathered from three decades of ministry to faculty. (The free "Mentor's Guide"-a PDF with FAQs-can be ordered from mentoringoneanother@gmail.com.)

These eight chapters combine topical Bible studies with readings and excerpts from respected Christian scholars. Together, they encourage academics at all levels to emulate Jesus Christ, as their minds are being renewed by his words. The breadth and depth of each chapter can be tailored to any maturity level-from grounding new believers to building fruitful disciples of Jesus out of those who've known him for decades. Whether your desire is to mentor or to be mentored spiritually, this should be a valuable resource and guide.
